There is no more spectacular spot on the coast to celebrate than at Wylie's Baths.

It's the perfect venue for wedding ceremonies and/or receptions, anniversaries, birthday parties, corporate functions, cocktail parties, charity nights and whatever else you can dream up!

Functions are held under the main marquee on the top deck, which overlooks the historic Baths, Coogee Beach and Wedding Cake Island.

The marquee can be fitted out with fabrics, lighting, long or round table arrangements, and – in the event of inclement weather – clear ocean-side panelling to ensure your guests are comfortable, while still enjoying the spectacular views.

The size of the event will determine the booking process

  • Small Events (Capacity 30 people seated or standing)
  • Large Events (Capacity 120 seated, 150 standing)

One of the best things about Wylie's Baths is that it's a blank slate - limited only by your imagination!

Booking Process

  • Contact our General Manager, Darina Lupinkova, at (02) 9665 2838 or swimnow@wylies.com.au to discuss your event.
  • Pay a deposit to secure a booking.

Hire Fee

Hourly rate* (includes set up & pack down time)

  • 4PM - 7PM: $150 per hour + GST
  • 7PM - 10PM: $250 per hour + GST


Flat-rate cleaning fee applies to all event hires:

$150 + GST


Available to hire:

  • Festoon Lights - $50
  • Speaker (bluetooth for music) and Microphone - $75
  • Projector and Screen - $75

Wylie's Baths has two local catering / event management partners who will ensure your event goes off without a hitch.

Booking Process

  • Choose one of our local caterers (listed below)
  • Contact our partner caterers directly to organise a quote.
  • Pay deposit to secure booking.


The Wylie's Baths Fixed Hire Fee

  • Monday - Thursday: $2,500 + GST
  • Friday - Sunday: $3,000 + GST

Flat-rate cleaning fee applicable to all event hires:
$150 + GST

Ground Rules

  • Our venue can hold 150 people seated or 200 standing.
  • Venue hire is from 6PM until 10pm (small events) and 11PM (large events) with all guests off site by 11:30PM
  • Noise management plan required to ensure minimal impact on our neighbours.
  • No glassware allowed (to avoid breakages on the pool deck below). Bar service should use polycarbonate in lieu of glassware.
